NOTICE OF DEATH
Dated: 24th July 2017

“ Death is a distant rumour to the young a man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”

The provincial executive committee wishes to inform all members of the South African Student Congress across the length and breadth of the province of the passing on of the Regional Secretary of SASCO in Ngaka Modiri Molema. The sudden and tragic death of Cde Lesego Racoco came as a result of a car accident where in which the Provincial Secretary Cde Tshepo Mohlomi, Cde Tsepiso Mphehlo and Cde George Mokoka were involved yet hospitalised.

“Everything for the revolution and nothing against it”

Comrade Lesego Racoco was a tireless fighter for the rights and interests of students, we have lost a leader, organizer, an organic intellectual of the revolution. Cde Lesego Racoco played a meaningful role towards bettering the life the movement for he understood that it is not about him but the life the organization. His contribution will forever be remember as he stood the test of time and did all for the advancement of the revolution.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen
you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

We therefore take this moment to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family as we urge members of the Progressive Youth Alliance and lovers of the revolution not to disperse during this trying time but rather continue advancing the struggle towards the total liberation of an African Child. Let us unite and put those in hospital in our prayers.
