The South African Student Congress (SASCO) would like to wish the Matric class of 2021 all the best as they prepare to write their National Senior Certificate exams.
As the class of 2021 begins their last and most important phase of secondary education, the South African Student Congress wishes them well, the exams are a critical point in the transition from secondary education to tertiary education. The exams although strenuous, SASCO urges all learners to use the basic skills of preparation to counteract panic while writing.
Although faced with several obstacles like the change of methods of learning and limited learning time frames due to COVID, the valiant actions of this generation stands hands above hills from many. Their commitment to education shows the resilience of this generation and the need to constantly develop themselves.
SASCO acknowledges the secondary stresses of not accessing institution of higher learning but during our Right To Learn campaign SASCO will ease the stresses of access. The primary focus in the main should be to write exams and pass.
SASCO is proud of the efforts that you have made in reaching the important milestone you are in; the efforts are admirable and should be commended. The tertiary spaces offer many opportunities to grow and develop skills, universities and TVET colleges are both spaces that can be accessed by matriculants. We further urge all current matriculants to apply for NSFAS as a financial relief to access to institutions of higher learning.
