SASCO KZN mourns the untimely passing of SASCO Ngaka Modiri Molema Regional Secretary Cde Lesego Rococo in North West.
SASCO KZN conveys the heartfelt condolences to family, friends and all SASCO activists in North West Province on the death of Lesego Racoco who passed away over the past weekend.
The death of comrades Lesego Racoco must surely remind SASCO member of our generational mission for free quality education.
Cde Racoco like the previous generations of SASCO did not hesitate to join struggle to rid South African education system which is knitted in apartheid colonialism.
It is ironic that Cde Lesego Rococo passed away during the year of enhancing access, ensuring quality education and academic excellence, sharpening a cadre, making the year 2017 the year of free education.
Cde Lesego Racoco did not only worry about the appalling conditions of poverty, inequality and Unemployment amongst the youth but lead from the front on the picket lines for equal access to education and the liberation of our people.
Cde Racoco died in the full knowledge that students are now the authors of their own destiny.
We have an obligation to revive our revolutionary morale and deepen our call for free quality education.
SASCO KZN joins the rest of comrades and friends in extending our sincere condolences to his family, SASCO North West Province and his Region.
Let us not despair but organise our constituency for the realisation of people’s education for people’s power.
Let us pick up the spear and continue with the fight in honour of our fallen hero’s.
Alwehlanga lungehlanga…
Aphumle umphumlelo wafuthi nokukhanya kwaphakade kumkhanyele.
