SASCO the Home and Hope of Students at UWC

South African Student’s Congress celebrates the overwhelming victory at the University of Western Cape. We celebrate this victory collectively with progressive youth alliance. Indeed nothing can defeat the unity of PYA.

The rejection of PASMA and DASO of DA by students in the Western Cape is a clear vote of no confidence against DA IN the province and substantiate that young people, students, in particular, have full confidence in the mass democratic movement as led by the ANC.

This landslide victory at UWC is an indication that students believe and still trust SASCO to champion their interests uncompromisingly. The unwavering support we got proves that SASCO is indeed a home and hope to Students and we shall never lose those sharp teeth in dealing with students issues.

SASCO will use this victory as a confidence and a revolutionary morality booster in our bid to reclaim hegemony in institutions in the Western Cape.

We thank all members of SASCO and leadership of PYA that spent sleepless nights making sure SASCO reclaim the control of the institution; your dedication has yield fruits of freedom for UWC students.

To our deployees, Students have borrowed us this power for ten months use it to the best of your ability to serve students selflessly. You now carry the name of the organization, humble yourselves and channel all your energy towards students aspiration.
